Can I use TixSimple to run a parking lot or garage?
Yes. Garage and lot owners create a parking ticket type with charge hours, rate increments, minimum/maximum stays, zones or stalls. Drivers enter their plate, choose an end time or number of hours, pay through Stripe and receive a QR parking pass.

Do I need pay stations, gates or special hardware?
No. Drivers pay on their own phone from a link or QR sign, and attendants use a phone to check passes and plates. TixSimple does not control gate arms or kiosks.
What does parking cost the lot owner?
There is no monthly fee for standard parking passes. TixSimple charges 1.3% + $0.33 per paid parking purchase, and Stripe card processing is separate. You can pass fees to drivers or absorb them.
How are drivers charged if they park before or after paid hours?
Sessions can start before or run past your charge hours. Drivers are only billed for the overlap with your charge windows, rounded up to your billing increment, and choices that would not be valid are not offered.
Can drivers extend their parking time?
Yes. Drivers can extend from their parking pass, subject to your maximum stay and available capacity.
How do attendants check which cars are paid?
Use the dashboard parking manager to filter vehicles by valid, upcoming, expired or unpaid and search by plate. Any standard scanner checks parking pass QR codes. Dedicated parking scanners with plate search and plate photo reading require Tickets+ at $79 per month.
Can I record cash payments from an attendant?
Yes. Attendants can log an external payment against a vehicle. It is recorded separately and is not processed as a Stripe charge.
Does TixSimple issue parking citations or tow vehicles?
No. TixSimple handles payment, passes and validity lookups. Citations, towing and gate control remain with your own enforcement process.
