TixSimple was born from demand for a clean, reliable ticketing experience — and a belief that your event should never compete for attention on its own ticket page.
The idea for TixSimple took shape in 2017, when tens of thousands of people were pouring into Oregon for the Oregon Eclipse gathering. The existing ticketing platforms simply could not keep up — they were cluttered, slow, expensive, and more interested in promoting other events than in helping this one succeed.
Our founder had already lived that problem firsthand as president of a non-profit that ran the Estacada Timber Festival, an event that brought more than 10,000 visitors to a town of just 3,000 residents. With a background building websites under the Winthrop Web brand since 2001, we had the experience to design a better solution: a simple ticketing platform that keeps the event in the spotlight, respects the buyer, and gives organizers complete control over pricing, fees, and branding.
Today, Winthrop Web specializes in helping event organizers create tools that work as hard as they do. TixSimple is the result — ticketing software built by people who actually run events.
